We have had a Belkin wireless router for years, but over the past couple of days it has stopped working as well as it used to. My computer automatically connects to our secure network, but downstairs my dad's laptop doesn't see our network. I used to connect to the internet on my phone through WI-FI but now I cant connect to our network. I have restarted the router and it seems fine but can't figure out whats wrong.

Can anyone help?

Belkin arn't renound in the world of wifi. I suspect it's just age getting to it, the radios degrade with ages slightly and the cooling etc becomes hampered by dust metal fatigue, chip creep etc.
You can try altering the channel to see if it's interference, If the range seems to have decreased on all channels then it's just old and tired and needs replacing.

Thanks for the replies, I will try a different wireless channel. Its on channel 6 at the moment, what should it be changed to? I don't understand what the channels mean :P
It's 2 years old so it's kind of annoying that it might be on it's way out so soon lol.
