Wonder if someone might be able to give me a bit of advice on the best kit to solve this:

I have a home office that is about 60m from the house. I have broadband on the BT line in the office with a non wireless router.

I want to make wireless available in the house (~ 60m away). The house is old (100 + yrs) and is made of stone (including some of the internal walls.

I am guessing that I will need a wireless access point to plug into the router in the office and then another wireless access point/repeater in the house to make the wireless signal available in the house.

Has anyone done this? Can anyone recommend any kit?

Many thanks in advance!

60m is quite a distance for the wireless to go.

Would it be at all possible to run a cable from the office to the house? The from that connect a wireless AP

Thanks for the reply J.B. It might be possible to run a cable but ideally I would like to avoid it as it would involve burying in conduit or clipping to an overhead BT line (probably illegal!).

Any way to boost the wireless signal to cover the distance?

or if there on the same electrics use a home plug kit then and put a router on the end its turns into a access point simple and easy .. thats how we do it...
