Wireless Router Question?

Hi all,

Want to set up a my inlaws computer so i can access the internet wirelessly through there ADSL connection.

I don't want to spend a lot of money but am unsure exactly what to get, Could i just get a wireless router or do i need to get a wireless ADSL router, The Current ADSL modem is USB.

Whjat should i get?

You'd need an ADSL router - the USB modem is useless with a router, and you'd need to use their machine as a gateway if the router disn't have it's own modem.

Thanks for the Reply, So if i get an ADSL Router thats also incorporates the ADSL modem, All i need to do it plug the router into the main PC wirelessly and set up the modem on the router with the same setting as the isp supplied modem?

You pretty much got it, if the router and the PC are near each other your best bet is to use a ethernet cable that normally come with your router to connect the two.

Plug the phone line into the router and follow the instructions that come with it.
