Hi
My parents in law have a Netgear D384g wireless router in their outside office (connected to a pc via ethernet cable (no wireless card)) they have just purchased a 2nd pc, with wireless card which is going upstairs at the opposite end of the house.
It was suggested the New Netgear DGN3500 Range max routers should give sufficient coverage to connect to the wireless network, I have been unable to get the router working for more than 10 seconds (all router lights go out), even with the same settings as the existing router (common issue apparently)
So I am after a solution,
- a different wireless router?
- a wired adsl router to connect to the new pc (would this work with the wireless one still connected?)
Thanks
Mike
