Wireless router, wireless PC, cabled 360

I have a Wireless router, a wirelss PCI card and an Xbox 360. Both the PC and 360 are able to connect to interent but I cannot get the PC to see the 360 to share media.

I was told both have to be wired or both wireless, not one of each. Is this right? Is there no way to create a private netork betweem the PC and 360?

You got windows media connect installed? combination of wireless/wired is irellevant

Yes it's installed. This isn't what the helpline said, they said you cannot create a private network with a wired device and a wireless device, both have to be the same
Everything else works perfectly.

360 -> Wired -> Router = Internet
PC -> Wireless -> Router = Internet
360 - Wired -> Router -> Wireless -> PC = Nothing

They just cannot see each other.
