Only SATA II?
Sorry no ball
Sorry no ball

the hard drive needs normal power from the PSU.
the wireless cable is for data transfer only.
Wireless sata (Assuming you could power the hard drive) would actually be quite a cool thing![]()
You had me for a couple of minutes. I almost pointed it out to a colleague but caught myself just in time.
Although that said, I don't see why this wouldn't be possible to make? It would probably have to be a little larger sure, but still. Would be good for connecting HDD's in an external enclosure etc.![]()
I bought 50 of these, and it's been non stop hassle with constant wifi conflicts and data corruption. They also seem to emit a deadly dose of micro radiation. I had a raw chicken and some eggs on the counter and in true ghostbuster style the eggs started to cook on the counter top (quite impressive to see) I now also have a perfectly cooked chicken (which was surprisingly moist and delicious) oh I also found my cat dead on the kitchen floor, I hated that manky bugger so every cloud right?
These are absolutely brilliant only gripe is they aren't Sata III, just need to get a wireless power supply sorted as well.
Having put an order in for these in 2 weeks when they arrive, I expected a far long wait but as a testament to OCUK's service, they appeared on my doorstep near immediately. As for the product itself, I can proudly say that my computers hard disc drives are now safely stored in a cupboard far from the dangerous hot parts of the computer for safer data storage, this has also made my computer lighter, which is a major help when I want to go camping but have to have my fill of gaming before going to bed. A top product, well done OCUK![]()
This product has literally changed my life. No longer do I need worry about finding a spare Sata cable, with these wireless connectors, this conundrum is conveniently solved. With their robust 2m range, I can also accomplish other tasks whilst transferring data from spare drives at arms length...such as struggling to reach the remote control because I don't like Homes Under the Hammer, or haplessly trying to prevent the cat from destroying my sofa.
Anyway, you need this in your life.
Yes but they are crap, take to long not like initial claims.
