So ive just bought a new wireless router(Netgear DGND3300) and was wondering what i need to do in the routers firewall section, it's allready detected my ipod touch im just not to sure what to do next and want to be safe online.

Thanks for any help.

you dont need to touch the firewall section of the router web gui.

the default settings should be fine. if your a novice i would enable UPnP for port forwarding this will do everything automatically for you.

besides the firewall. the only security feature you need to enable is WPA security for authorised access to your internet/router.

you want to be using WPA2-psk.

hope this helps

untick upnp, you shouldn't need any ports being forwarded. Wep is a load of poo, wpa2-aes is what you need wireless security
