Wireless Security - What do you use?

but isn't it fairly easy to clone someone's mac address ?

Dont know, never had it happen to me in the past 2 yrs ive been running my wireless network at home. They cant clone it unless they know what it is...

Security? Whats that :p

Fully open here, tho it would be very easy to spot the idiot "hacking" in as im surrounded by fields for miles and miles ;) :D

WPA-PSK (TKIP), mac filtering and SSID turned off. My router with DD-WRT offers me plenty of options, but I can't be bothered figuring most of them out.

Same configuration and same router :) My key is 29 characters long.

no security, no mac filtering, just a nice traffic shape restricting that port on the router to 1mb to WAN and the requirement of VPN to talk to any LAN devices. does the job, i use wired whenever possible though.

mac filtering. I know who all my neighbours are, and I'm pretty confidnent they would all think mac cloning was something to do with raincoats or something :p

(that and Winchester isn't really the wardriving capital of the world.

WPA2 - 12 digit password
SSID On (sister's WLAN card won't work with no SSID for some reason)
No MAC filtering (yet)

I feel I'm pretty secure behind the WPA2 though. I think Guru is right, so far it has proven uncrackable but I'm sure that will eventually change but until then...

All the computers in my house, bar my parent's one are connected wirelessly (which is about 5 inc. laptops) so for me security really is an issue and I try to keep on top of it.

I'm going to try and get the SSID off and have aquick fiddle now though.
