Today my laptop has arrived, so i decided i beter get my wrt54gl sorted out and ready (was collecting dust up untill today), so i installed the latest tomato firmware on it, and now need to know what security stuff i should use on it to keep my network safe, because when removing the bloatware from my laptop i noticed it picked up 2 nearby wiresless networks in the area, and i dont want either of them being able to connect to me at all.
Normal i would be able to figure this out myself but i dont have a great deal of time which is why im asking for the help of anyone here. The router has the option of wep, wpa (personal/enterprise) wpa2 (personal/enterprise) wpa/wpa2 (personal/enterprise) or radius. Which one is best, and what are the differences between the personal and enterprise security protection?
Edit: One more thing i would like to know, how do i set up a shared folder on my pc (vista home premium) that can only be accessed by my laptop (xp pro) and not the other users on my network.
