Wireless speaker recommendations!

I'm wanting to get a single wireless speaker for a large master bedroom - to stream internet radio and listen to music from my iPhone. I'd like something that would fill the room well and give genuinely good quality balanced sound. I've done a bit of research and Sonos, Cambridge Audio (Minx 200) and Bose look as if they would be good options. B&W might be getting too expensive ... budget roughly +/-£300. Airplay, bluetooth, wifi all acceptable options. Any recommendations gratefully received ... might go shopping tomorrow!

Thank you in advance :)

I'd recommend Sonos.

Easy to use and works well with iTunes, Spotify, Napster etc.
We use my iTunes library on our NAS and Spotify to stream music.

Sonos comes heavily recommended and is quite an easy choice but I think you have to use a streamer service e.g. spotify or NAS (as CocoPops says) to play music through it.

I recently bought a Loewe Speaker 2go

as I wanted something that would be portable as well (~6 hours battery life), which I don't believe the Sonos products are. It is bluetooth and aux only, not airplay but I don't find that to be a problem at all. I'd really recommend having a look at it as the sound quality is really amazing (I've read countless reviews and obviously now heard it with my own ears) and you never know when you might want to go portable. Build quality and finish are also top notch. You can get one for £200 from the regular outlets.

That said, if Sonos fits the bill then it's a great choice and the option to add more speakers in different rooms is very appealing.

I treated myself to a Sonos Play 1 at the weekend - chuffed to bits with it so far. Using our Spotify account with it for streaming music, the Tunein Radio app for internet radio and our own music library is on a hard drive plugged into the Home Hub as a NAS.

In addition to sounding great it's just so simple to set up and use...

The only downside on the Play 1 is that you either need to have a wired connection to your router or a powerline adaptor or buy a Bridge which is an additional £40. However, if you're in the West Midlands area, the Apollo stores are bundling a free Sonos bridge with the Play 1.....which was nice :D

(only problem is.... I want to buy more of them now....)
