Wireless Xbox 360 Controller For Windows

I am going to get an additional wireless Xbox 360 Controller for my PC. I already have one which came with a receiver so I am wondering if I need to get another one or whether I can just get a normal Wireless Xbox 360 controller for the console (maybe a second hand one?) as I already have the PC receiver which supports up to 4 controllers I believe.

Any official Xbox 360 wireless controller will work with the receiver. I say official as third party ones can be hit and miss.
