Hi all

Anyone help with wiring this? i've got a rocker switch (3 pin) that i want to use to switch the leds (using for lighting) on and off,

They are all rated for pc's

"This is a switch suitable for a 21mm diameter hole and is an 'inline' switch designed to switch power on or off to 12v devices (eg fans , cold cathode lights etc"

i'm in no great rush to install it and don't mind testing it, i've also got a brand spanking new enermax liberty psu so i don't fancy blowing that  just want to know how to so i don't do :p

sagaboy2 my hero :p but i like the idea of a test psu!!! a small local pc shop is going to put a secondhand one aside for me, they won't sell second psu's on normally but they don't mind me having one to mod for testing purposes, think that's really good of them :)

Well i've been browsing the auctions today(bit impatient) :p and dropped on a brand new 400W psu for £9.50 (inc p+p) so as soon as it arrives i'll set it up and try it ;)

As you can see switch works a treat :) but doesn't illuminate :( (tried connecting to the other outer terminal but it doesn't work at all then) so it looks like i need another one :(

Just had this reply from my e-mail :)

"Sorry to say, it seems we have made a tiny mistake with those switches. We intended to order 12v illuminated, but it seems we have ordered mains powered switches. The 12v of the PSU is not enough to light the bulb, but the switching action obviously works fine.

We are looking into sourcing a replacement that is 12v light able, and will let you know with what we find. Once we source one we can sort out the replacing of the unit."
