Witcher or Dragon Age?

Was planning on getting a new RPG and The Witcher is quite cheap but now that Dragon Age is on sale i don't know which one i want any ideas?

Tough choice, i prefer the witcher but the witcher is abit crap till a few acts in then it's amazing!. Personally i'd go for The Witcher and as the witcher 2 is near you can import your save game, it's a done deal

Don't forget the enhanced edition and texture mods

The Witcher starts slowly but gets a lot better.

Dragon age starts well but gradually gets a bit stale imo.

Both are great though, so get both!

Dragon Age for me.
The Witcher was alright, i just couldn't get in to it.(great game maybe, but just wasn't for me for whatever reason)
Though as Neil says, the sequel is out in a few weeks so it might be worth getting now.

If you get DAO just make sure you don't get too hyped up for the sequel

Well there are mods to it too. Custom stories and stuff.

I'd be tempted to say Dragon Age but with The Witcher 2 coming up I'd have to say that. That way if you like it you could get the new 1 too.

Witcher is slow at the start but awesome later on. You could always get DA ultimate addition for £13 at the other site I told you about.

I finished both Witcher and Dragon Age Origins and gotta say I had much more fun with Witcher, although DAO is decent too. Witcher has much better story/game world/atmosphere, it is not generic stuff like DAO.

Just started The Witcher again, played it on release - but wasn't a fan. Enjoying it a lot more for some reason this time!

With Witcher there is the advantage of knowing its sequel is 2 weeks away and will be amazing..

With DAO we all already know how its sequel turned out...ugh.
