Witcher or Dragon Age?

There have been a few threads comparing these games recently and in pretty much every post, whichever game they have chosen, the poster always at least acknowledges that the other game is also great:)

Just buy the witcher and get as far as you can even if at first you don't think it's that great because it will be!

Complete it and keep the saves, Import into The Witcher 2

PROFIT! :D
 
What are the best mods for it then?

Also how much hours of gameplay before it gets good and how many are in it all together. Roughly.
 
Dragon Age.

The Witcher is like playing through the fantasies of a 40 something virgin who still lives with his mother.

Dragon Age at least lets the player decide if he wants to play as an angsty, emo man whore.

Looks like the judge has chosen witcher after being persuaded to do so bye someone on steam (me)
 
I finished Witcher EE few days ago and it was smooth sailing all the way through, 60fps constant.
You seem to have better PC HW-wise, so...something fishy going on there. Drivers, DirectX, overclocking..? usual suspects.
