With or without images

I'm not promising this, but I would be stunned if you use 5GBs even with pictures, maybe even with occasional Youtube streaming.

Hmpf, you can EASILY reach 5 gb with just browsing, youtube is a big nono...

We had a 1gb limit, and I hit the limit after just 1 week, and that was with reduced browsing as usual, no youtube, compressed images, etc...

All me and my dad did was browse news sites ( w/o streaming vids), forums, place adverts ( so that meant occasionally uploading pics), msn and email...


5GB is just too little for normal browsing ( eg. youtube, occasional streaming of the news, etc) never mind stuff like downloading.
on average I'd say I use 80-100gb a month but there are months where I've downloaded hundreds of GB's...

But of course it depends on how long you do it, both me and my dad use ( as in browse) the net 8-12 hrs a day on avg., and my mum about 4 hrs a day...

Found this useful to gauge my usage.

IMO using Firefox with NoScript & Adblock add-ons helps, i.e. blocks ads & extra junk.
