I had a cancelled holiday money returned to my credit card.
Clearscore monthly report came a week later and my rating had dropped.
I chose to use my card for purchases to run it down instead of my normal account.
Clearscore report at the next month showed a further drop in my rating.
I thought it would be better to spend it on normal purchases rather than transfer it, it was my money after all.
It seems like banks do not like you having a negative balance( yes they call it negative when it's your money) on a credit card.
TL:dR get the bank to transfer it.
