Whilst I love the sound of this game, I simply don't have the time to invest in a game like this any more, where a simple miscalculation could be the end of a lot of hard work.

according to the forums there is already high level players griefing new players in a low level dungeon :(

Yeah that is completely inevitable. It only take s a small bunch of *****. Still, be interesting to see how they handle it.
 
You would have to be flagged for PvP surely? Or do you mean they are pulling mobs and running off?

I have absolutely no idea how this all works, other than the permadeath aspect, which isnt really apparently... but I would be surprised if PvP is optional as it kind of removes that hardcore aspect.

Ah well, going to download tonight and go into it fresh. Anyeone know client size?

Yeah I appreciate that, and when I had hours a week to dedicate to gaming, I'd have been more inclined to play Hardcore. But when I have a few hours at most to game, I don't want the additional worry of losing my time investment.

fair enough, I only have a couple of hours a night but dont mind that much. miss the old days of non stop day long sessions. Kids!
 
Really liking this game so far, though I wish the Character Creation was less random with the stats (sat there for about an hour rolling over and over until I got the highest I could, reminds me of Baldur's Gate) :p Thanks again for the key Caz!
 
This game is out now, why is it not receiving more love? I am gonna give it a go.
 
Loaded it, felt like id timewarped back to the far distant past, everything was clunky and awkward. Just too much other good stuff to play right now to try and discover the game beneath the poor mechanics/visuals.

Yes exactly the griefing example should be allowed but then bounties should be put on the griefer's head and some kind of law enforcers should become involved.

Make it all player run. Make it profitable to hunt down and bring in griefers (dead or alive :D)

Sounds interesting mmo though shall keep my eye on it.
 
It was a good concept, but in my opinion very clunky and awkward to play. If you can get past that, I would say there would be a lot of fun to be had in this game!
