This happens to me now...i've not even changed anything of my pc it just randomly happened and also when i played BF3 singleplayer for a bit the cutscenes were black too.The only recent thing i installed was new Nvidia 285.62 drivers which were ideal for BF3.
Anyone know what could be causing this? i've tried removing the player then installing again and installing codec pack.Has anyone had this issue?
I also use VLC which has no problems opening the mpg files.

(could have been 285.62s too though as 285.38s worked, odd.)
