Anyone got this?

Wolf2.exe - Unable to locate Component

This applicatiion failed to start because d3dx9_39.dll was not found.

Installed the 1.1 patch.

Using Vista x64

Any idea. Quick google didn't show anything.

Try updating dx9

Re-install the latest DirectX.

Put it in your Windows/system32 directory.

The correct thing to do is to run this - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

There are numerous dll files for d3d9, each corresponding to the version of the SDK that the game was compiled with. Run the exe at the link above to make sure you have the latest dll files.

Ah thanks chaps.. I seemed to fix the problem before I read the above posts.

I reinstalled the game only this time when asked do I want to install dx9, I said "yes" rather then "No knowing I was on dx10. I'm guessing it updated the above.

I'll keep that hand.. Once again.. thanks

I had such problem as you do and solve them using .dll file from http://fix4dll.com/d3dx9_39_dll this is the fastest way to solve this problem without installing any additional tools. Try some and I'msure you can fix it by your own using this file. Good luck.
