Nothing really to add but you have dealt with this all incredibly maturely and should be proud. We are the same age I can see from your profile and I can honestly say I wish I was able to deal with this kind of thing half as adult like as you appear to of done so. :)

I've been married 15 years. We are still utterly besotted with each other.......more so than when we were first married :D . Our love is anything but subtle :D

Agreed. However, this is normally a sign of a stable, trusting relationship. Oh and , of course, the other way round should be fine as well.

To the OP. This is life, remove all contact and move on... simples.
 
OP done good, getting on with things and she's obviously not, getting back in touch with you and sulking that you are just getting on with it.

Maybe your right; I guess i was more confused by the behaviour, why should she care if she didn't reciprocate such feelings - that was the initial point!

Still, life is a funny old thing - quite content at the moment, if anything it has just made me realise how childish she is, the difference between a 22year old and 25year old is substantial - especially given women are meant to be more mature...

My ex has then messaged me going mad, saying stuff a long the lines of "you clearly had a good night, some girl all over you, I can't believe you be like this so soon after breaking up".

Woah... be like what? I hadn't done anything with this girl, just banter and a fun evening with some mates - now she has gone offline, commented on some of the pics just saying "nice".

.... She dumped me... I went out with some mates and now I am in trouble?!

She's just sore, women like it when men get really bad over them as it makes them feel good about things. Tbh go out enjoy yourself and just forget ur ex, a year is a long time to figure out you don't 'glue'. Leave her in the dumps and find some new lass.

Woah... I have a very good record thanks - the ex was just as nice, if not nicer. All my ex's are out of my league (all 4 of them lol)... must be my dashing personality
 
Big up for keeping a cool head and acting dignified. A few years ago I split up with a girl who ended up being a complete cow so decided to take revenge. I dropped off some of her stuff one night but put a pair of sexy knickers in the bag that weren't hers. The fireworks later than evening still makes me grin to this day :D
 
***UPDATE***

Guys,

Just thought I would give you a little update to the situation as it is pretty funny, and just shows the level of double standards she has!

I dropped my mate off after a night on the town Saturday who lives down her road, and as I drove past hers at 2 in the morning I noticed her ex boyfriends car outside her house... not surprising as I said early I assumed they would get back together - the next day I had to go to my Granddads who lives opposite her and noticed his car was gone and hers was still there, so I text her to see if she was in as I still need to pick up some stuff from hers; she replied saying "no not at home right now sorry" and I said "ok no worries, I assumed you may be out with EXBOYFRIEND - no worries, ill get my bits another time".

At this point she text back saying "what do you mean, why would I be with him" so I told her I saw his car last night when dropping FRIEND off and she went crazy saying "I was at my friends last night, glad to see you are still checking up on me, grow up and annoy someone else and stop sending me ****** texts"...

The ****ty text she speaks of was the one where I said no worries Ill get my stuff another time... not sure how it was ******

She has now gone to all my mates at work (we used to work together but i moved to another office) - questioning about what happened sat night and if it was true I dropped them off.

Now what makes me laugh is she goes mad and removes me from FB stops talking to me because of a picture, yet she has her ex boyfriend over to stay and spends the weekend with him - and then makes out as if I am in the wrong! haha.

Now - before you say "delete her, move on" etc...

Fear not - already got the girls number from earlier in the thread (lap girl) and been seeing her the last few weekends where I can, I just thought the level of double standards was worthy of an update! :)
