Wondering eyes.

I've noticed sometimes when talking to a stranger of the opposite sex that it is normal to keep eye contact, but sometimes I notice that there eyes wonder and are in the direction of your lips/mouth area.

I notice that women look at my crotch. They notice I look at their chest. All works out well. Worry less man, it's all good.

lol

Is wandering eyes is normal then? I can understand when people say that it's not possible to retain 100% eye contact, but then I guess how you break it differs. Some look at your lips, others out the window etc.

When looking out of the window she is normally thinking "I'd rather jump out of that than listen to this **** any longer"

Not taken from personal experience......Honest guv.

I have this weird habit of looking at peoples mouths when they speak and not their eyes. I don't know why.

I do this also - my hearing is not the best (I'm not deaf or anything, but spoken words often seem to blend into one another). If I watch someone's lips then I can "stream" what they are saying directly into my brain (as if I were reading). If I don't, then it can take me a few seconds to figure out what exactly was said (playing iterations of what I heard over in my head to fit them into a sentence), which can make the next thing even more difficult to understand.

It probably comes across as a little weird, but it helps me.

People who try to maintain constant eye contact in conversation scare me. It makes them come across as a serial killer/rapist/whatever.

Eye contact is important, her looking away might be a sign of nervousness\shyness or she is not interested. I always keep eye contact and I even tell them to look at me when I'm talking to them lol.

One time in Hull I hadn't seen an attractive woman for literally weeks. I popped in to the bank one day and the woman behind the glass had an enormous rack that I couldn't keep my eyes off for the entire conversation. She's lucky she was behind glass. Is this classed as wandering eyes? I wasn't actually looking anywhere else.

we hear a lot about alpha males etc, but there is one sure way to spot an alpha male and the very rare alpha+

the stare. when an alpha speaks to you, they will hold eye contact while speaking, they will now budge at all.

alpha+ is the scariest, they will hold your eye contact, but dont blink, not once.

what you describe is the opposite, male or female, being interested in what your saying, studying your face for small indications of emotion or untruths

Probably because it's not a weird habit but a basic human thing.

Try observing people in a public place, best is at a restaurant, watch people talk and notice how many people look at the mouths of the person talking.

Facial expressions and the way someone talks can dramatically change the interpretation of the conversation being had and it's an important thing on it's own especially for us as a verbally social species.
