Okay so...
I recently bought a wicked-cool PC from you guys at OCUK (thankyou very much, it's bloody awesome). Amongst all the parts I bought I also got hold of two of These Monitors.
Now these have VGA inputs along with DVI-D. My computer uses the DVI-D input to each monitor, which is simple enough and works just fine.
Now my dilema, is that my xbox 360 and TV are in the most uncomfortable position in the world (wall mounted TV which I have to look up at or stand up to play on). This is complicated by the fact that I own a Roxio Game Capture device which takes and gives component inputs and outputs.
Now, If I purchase a Component Cable with the yPrPb connectors, which has a VGA on the other end, can I connect my roxio game cap to the VGA input of my monitors. As I understand it, VGA is also capable of displaying HD picture and is also analogue like component.
So the signal path would be:
Xbox 360 (Component Output) > Roxio Game Capture (Component Input and Output) > PC Monitor (VGA Input).
My question is, would this work? Thanks
