Hey all,

Haveing some problems with my new rig.

Specs:

E6300 - stock HSF
Asrock Conroe945G-DVI
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB
Corsair value select pc5300 2x512
Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 80GB 800JD SATA-II 8MB
OCZ ModStream 450w ATX2.2

Turn the system on, fans spint, lights are on and power button seems full functional.

However i dont get a signal to the moniter, tried useing both the x1950 pro and the onboard, still no signal.

I had this problem a few days ago and thought it was becaus i was usein OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2 as th mobo only runs to 667.

However now i have the crosair in im a bit lost.

Where do i start?

My motherboard has three power connectors going into it... you definately connected all three?

You gotta connect the 24pin cable, 4-pin molex and 4-pin "square" connector into the mobo.

Have you tried booting without RAM? My mobo gives me a beep to say I haven't got any RAM in if I do that.

Also, try booting without the graphics card in and use on board. You might need to use on board for the first boot to change things in bios to use the PCI card first.
 
Heya,

Have tried it both with and without the gfx card. All the power cables are in the 4 pin atx 12v and the 20 pin.

Ive just re done the cpu to see if thats it and am gonna try it with one stick of ram.
