Afaik, anything over 250,000 win, could or is normaly paid in installments to help the claiment not 'go wild' and the lotto fund still claims intrest on the remaining winnings.

I allso thought you got slightly more getting installments, could be talking out my ass though, must have heard it from a friend of somthing.

No,anything above a certain amount needs to be claimed in person or at an office... I guess the 5 grand limit is correct.
