Erm, it seems ive accidentally ordered a 10-20mm Sigma, nevermind eh. :D So now im waiting for delivery of; My new bag, a spare battery and a lens. All I need now are some UV or clear filters.

i keep looking at that lens but need to sort a couple of other things first. Mainly, i want a Canon 28-135 IS USM first as i have been enjoying the use of a 28-70 L USM over the last few weeks however it's not quite long enough for a walkabout lens.

Gah, hate you! :D

Just you wait till you have mortgage, wife and family!! (you may already have mortgage though!) then you will have to sell all this equipment to pay for them!!

I would love the Sigma 10-20 as well....hope you get a decent copy.

Nope, no mortgage, wife or family. The plan is to buy buy buy before I move out to my own place and become poor. Aye, fingers crossed for a sharp one.

You poor sod! Well you will be now.

Hopefully posting some pics taken with the 10-22 will help ease the muscular strain that a slipped finger inevitably causes. ;)

I am thinking of biting the bullet and ordering this lens sometime soon. Be sure to post some test pics when you get it :)

Ditto, however I will have to wait a month+.

A definitive review from a reliable source may sway me though so let me know what its like when it arrives ;)

Its wide-angle, you can get all three in one pic, derr!

Correct answer, lol. And my feet and the back of my head at the same time! :D I could do with some UV/Clear filters fro this one and my macro lens. Has anyone got the Hoya Pro ones? Im quite partial to my one and only B&W filter so im tempted by these. Would this be a sensible investment in you lot's opinion?

To be honest I'd be tempted just to get a CPL for the 10-20. Assuming you'll be shoointg mostly landscapes with it, its a worth investment and will likely remain on the lens most of the time anyway.

Well I went with the B&W UV filters in 72 and 77mm for now. I did hover over the B&W 77mm CPL filter (Damn good price from Hong Kong), but I think i'll probably wait until I get a square filter system. (Thinking Cokin Z-Pro holder with a mix of Hitech and Lee filters)
