Woot, A clear dock in leopard!

Couldn't you just edit the .png files in the system folder, and replace it with a transparent .png.

I'm betting this is how Candybar / any of the icon / interface apps get around it.

I've had a go, and managed to get the dock to be 'fairly' transparent.

However, it still reflects windows above and has the icon reflection below too.

Seems like much hassle.

Perhaps Hate could host the files from his system folder!.....

You know what, I've been using my Mac for around 3-4 months now, and it's only since seeing that screenshot that I noticed that there's a little blue dot under the applications that are currently running!

How did I overlook such an obvious thing? lol

I like the dock, can't see me changing it! Just wish there was a way for it to display an icon for "recent servers" rather than displaying nothingness...

Has anyone tried Swapmydock? http://slappingturtle.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=14&Itemid=58

"SwapMyDock" is a simple to use drag and drop application that allows you to easily change Leopards dock graphics. SwapMyDock will back up your original dock images and allow you to restore them at any time. There are a bunch of cool docks available for free at www.dockulicious.com www.leoparddocks.net and www.leoparddocks.com so download a copy of SwapMyDock and go grab yourself a cool new dock.

I run my dock in a 2D mode, can't remember how I got it like it, but I'm sure I saved a bookmark to the page that told me what to do so that I can revert it if ever I want to. I also have it quite small and with the magnification turned off.

Pretty basic but it works for me.
