It is meant to be out this year, but I would be very dubious about the June date, given, as you say, there been no beta or server testing going on yet. I'll be surpised to see it before Xmas.

EDIT: As far as I can tell, no one at Webzen has mentioned anything about a release date other then 2006, which has been floating around for ages.

EDIT 2: Although everyone is waiting for E3 to find out for sure, the 'best guess' on the Huxley forums is that closed beta testing will begin in the US and Korea in 2-3 months time.

Which means, as I suspected, the June date given for preorder on the above site is completely wrong, and my guess of September-Xmas is much better :D

well that will give me more time for me to save up money for new rig :D

im still going to pre order as well, just so that i can get the game when it comes out.
 
isnt this a DX10 (**3 engine) game from what i read ?

I thought you would need vista to play it or something? hope not.

Im hoping theres a european beta before i commit to it.

Its not going to be as good as planetside, they reckon the actions more "bouncy railgun FPS" than "tactical camping aiming FPS"

Anyway last game i pre ordered was Dark and Light, and that turned out to be one of the largest showers of **** i have ever played (SOG open beta/CTD simulator)

I know it wasnt the finished product but the way the developers handled it, i lost all confidence.

Ill be there the day Huxley is released :O but ill wait to see how it comes along.

ok wtf does tactical camping aiming FPS mean?

if you mean big fat nooby zerg from base to base then yes you are correct, any other description of planetside is way off the mark.

This would be a very bad thing :( And a major mistake on their part.
 
someone... please stop me from trying to upgrade my computer with athlon 64 X2!! im so tempted!

i cant wait for the conroe much longer!
