Word Issue

Morning folks,

This one is strange and quite perplexing.

We had a word document which was roughly about 30 pages. When printing the document, the printer would only give us one blank white sheet of paper with nothing except the letters "IB" in the top left hand corner of the sheet of paper.

Open-repairing the document did not work.

Copying the contents of the document into a new blank page and saving afresh made no difference either.

I have checked for hidden field codes and have been unable to find anything. Have also tried saving it as an RTF document but still the problem persists.

Any ideas? Im sure its something fundamental but Im open to suggestion

is it only that document ? or does it do it on others ?

Its just that one document. We tried printing it on 3 different printers and still the same problem.

All other documents print fine.

Have you tried saving it to PDF? You can use PrimoPDF or similar to print to a PDF file.

This will give you an accurate represenation of what is happening to the printer. If the IB appears in the PDF document at least you wont be wasting anymore paper or ink!

If it appears fine in the PDF document, then print it from there.
