Im using a wordpress site and there arent any H1 tags on any of the pages. The page name goes in as an H2 tag?

Am I missing something obvious as I cant see a way to change it to H1?

Thanks

It will be set in your theme template files.

Is it on posts or pages? Either way, if you are using default templates it could be in single.php or the other one I can't remember.

The other one is page.php

Under theme click edit, choose either file, find h2 and change to h1.

Have you tried the all in one seo WP pack? Seems to be getting some good reviews on the WP site?

I do use all-in-one seo. Seems ok, but rewrites a lot of things. Had an issue with TwentyTen to start off, but that's been fixed. Seems to slow down sites a tad, but I use w3 Total Cache aswell so altogether it seems ok.

All in One SEO is good if you wan't an out of box solution. However I prefer Greg's High Performance Plugin as it offers a huge amount of customisations.

Agree with the SEO friendly images and xml sitemap plugins though.

w3 total cache was updated today, seems to make a big difference. Now has CloudFlare support and Google Pagespeed API support. I'm currently looking at it on a few sites of mine...
