Im building a custom wordpress template from scratch and want to know if im going about it the right way.
Basically, on the home page I want to have two feeds. So one section shows the newest portfolio peices and elswhere on the page another shows the lates blog posts.
How im going about this currently is having 2 loops set up so that it excludes certain catagoies of post. This way only blog catagory posts show in the blog feed.
Is this the right way to go about it or could you recomend any better methods?
