Hey everyone

I started working on a theme for my blog, which I'm going to use to post updates on projects and events at uni.

Anyway I need help, I'm not sure I like what I've done and everyone here seems pretty good at giving advice on design of sites so any help would be great.

its at blog.gauntface.co.uk

Also I have only worked on the index page so none of the other pages will be styled i.e. full post view or archives etc.

I'm running on 1024x768 at the moment, and the title image looks nice but is far too big as are the dates, post content could be a little wider. The top menu looks a little lost. Other than that it looks pretty good.

Agreed; header image is too big. Also, there's very little space for the posts' content as it is, as the post title and the date to the left take up far too much space.

Cheers for the advice guys I'll make the header image a little more reasonable size wise and either minimize the date image or try making the center of the page use the full width of the window.

I managed to get the post and date to stretch the width of the page, *** do you guys think??

I'll tackle the header image next and get rid of the menu bar

Ive made the changes as suggested above, what do you guys think? I must admit though I need to test this on IE and safari, but any help on the appearance would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks for help so far
