Hi Guys,

I need some recommendations for a wordpress theme.
Something simplistic just to link to my linkedin,github etc

I came across this site https://startpages.github.io/ and ideally would like a startpage that is designed around wordpress. I was going to link my index.html using the above to my wordpress blog but would rather have it designed using wordpress.

Any reason why you want WordPress?

If that's the look you want I would simply hand build something like that in a few hours. WordPress seems overkill for that. Unless of course you have zero knowledge of HTML,CSS that is.

If you did want to do it on WordPress you could download something like http://underscores.me/ and create your very own simple template to replicate that site you linked to in your second post.
