ok, so I'm after suggestions for places to pick up good quality work wear.

5 shirts and 2 trousers for £150.

smart stuff please!

i tried M&S and it was £220....

Next on that budget.

Next isnt as budget as you think, its not as expensive, but I wouldnt be manageable on that budget for their better range.

For a decent shirt, your looking at £30-35 each+, however you can get double packs of shirts for £20 (not great ones) or you can pay a bit extra

Same again with trousers, you can pay around £25 for your standard trousers, or for decent ones they can be £45+

Same with shoes.

Its like any place

Probably work out maybe around £200 for what you need possibly

Seconded on Debenhams, it's not top of the range but comfortable and looks smarter than the price would suggest.

Shame you missed the Next sale as you could've loaded up on that budget! Though I reckon their quality (especially in shoes) has gone down a lot recently.

Next Signature line is great for shirts/ties and trousers. I'd never buy their shoes though as they will last 2 seconds before either falling apart or looking rather weak.

Clarks have good deals of genuine leather shoes all the time, hundreds of styles to choose from.
