You could get trousers from ASOS. I got some nice blue chinos from them for £20.

Look at either TM Lewin or Brook Tavener. I prefer the BT shirts as I think they're better quality.
I go for M&S trousers over next, mainly because I hate slim fit trousers and that seems to be all Next ever have. Horses for courses however. £150 will be easily done at any of those retailers

I get my shirts from Next clearance section, never pay more than £15 for shirt + tie which is 100% cotton.

Bought a 100% cotton signature slim fit shirt from M&S recently too in their sale for £5.

Got my trousers from Burton 2 pairs for £35.

Looking smart on a budget is very doable, I wouldn't skimp on shoes though, as they can make or break the look. But again, just look online for Next etc. clearance section.
