Hey guys,

just wondered if anyone can recommend a decent brand of shirt that has a good slim fit. I currently tend to get Hugo Boss as their slim fit is a good fit for me, but most other slim fits I've tried are still 'bankers' slim fit (i.e. fat ****).

Can anyone point me towards other makes they've found good slim fits for?

Austin Reed
Armani
Boss (as you said)
Gant (but get a size smaller than normal)

Edit: I'm a fat bar steward by the way but my brother is a rake and he wears the above (sorry if inaccurate)

NEXT. I always go the NEXT clearance near me and don't remember the last time I paid full price for a quality slim fit shirt. Normally pay ~£8.

You could have a look in Next, they have a rather nice selection of shirts
Ironically, as much as I hate Next and take every opportunity to point out how dull their clothes are and how they're designed for mid 30's blokes with a slight gut who can't think for themselves, let alone style themselves... their slim fit white shirts are a great fit :D

Short of that, Ted Baker. But only if you can afford it.

Coincidently I am a fat guy and I swear by Gant shirts. Great sizing for me. I think it depends where you get them. The Gant shop in places like Bluewater are tending to get smaller and smaller sizing but independents like House of Fraser still have the large sizes.
