Im after some work shirts, because im a small bloke (5ft 8) i need a 15" Collar but i need a slim fitting shirt, Everytime i goto buy shirts there too bulky, collar seems to be ok though.

Any one suggest any places i can buy a shirt for £10-£20, mainly plain block colours (Blue, Dark Lilac etc).

Done all the obviousl ones, BHS, Next, burtons...

Matalan do a range of slim fit cotton shirts. Last i went it was £20 for 2, not the best shirts in the world though

if you work at waitrose you get them free and can order more for no extra charge, the one bad thing is there green so bleach them up before use.

if you want to sweat in polycotton ****. Get some resonable 100% cotton shirts for £20 and then see if you would back to george
Asda George do loads of 100% cotton shirts, in fact they do some amazing quality ones, sort of double woven (ones in cream boxes) by far the best quailty shirts for the money I've ever bought. I;ve got 4 of these all about 15 months old and they still look brand new.

Also the matalan shirts are all very thin cotton, they just don't last at all in my experience, all the ones I've bought from there look dog eared and faded within a few months.

I like the H&M slim fit shirts. The are £25 each or 2 for £40 i think.

I find normal shirts a terrible fit because my shoulders and chest are big but a slim waist. They always seem to think that if you are a large you are fat!

Just had a look through my wardrobe - all but one of my work shirts are Peter England ones, their 15in collar shirt is 40in/101cm chest, 37in/94cm waist according to the back of the packaging on my last purchase.

So they go a bit flappy round the sides?
It happens to me usually :( Though i'm not really built :S

Hugo Boss £69.99/89.99 - mentioned purely because I love there shirts, but only have 5.

Austin Reed are £40 ish upwards per shirt. Dont have these but they are quality.

Llewyns £25 per shirt are good city style shirts.

M&S and Next £20 slimfit should do you? - I have a few from both.

Take a look at www.next.co.uk first

Another thing you might like to consider would be armbands.

I have a similar problem as I have an exceptional large neck , so any shirt that I find is usally too big.... These work a treat.

Thomas Pink Slim Fit are very sexy, it's worth looking in the sale as you can get some fantastic shirts for £30 (reduced from £70+).
