Working at Christmas?

If I was at work I'd be doing next to nothing, but i'd still rather not be there. Wish I had a job I liked:p
This is why it's great. Quiet roads, no-one to make sure you are "busy" in front of, just kick back, watch some movies/videos, listen to some music, do an incredibly short day, get paid for it without losing a "real" day's holiday.

Im off Xmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day. Apparantly it's going to get really quite over the next week or so. Personally I'd rather be in work on Xmas Day, especially if there was some nice sort of overtime, but I think we just close completely (this is for NHS IT btw). I'm sure there must be some medical centres etc open on Xmas Day, can't quite understand why we aren't required in.

I have my final Oral Board next Friday (19th). If I pass I'm off until the 12th January :D But on the downside I could end up in Aberdeen or Farnborough :(

Start at 8am on Boxing Day. Thankfully, I'm off for both Chrstmas Day and Ne'erday but I'm working four days inbetween from 26th to 30th. No holidays for me until the end of January.

I've been really lucky with my rota, was meant to be on call boxing day, but because it's 3rd on I don't have to be there! Have to work Christmas Eve and am on call NYE. At least I'll have the weekend after Christmas too.

I have to work on 22nd but then I'm off for 2 weeks.

Bit gutted that we have to go in for that 1 piddling day. Friday finish would have been epic :(
