I think there are various factors that can contribute to the appeal of WFH, and the work itself isn't the entire picture. For example young single people I would suggest are relatively more likely to benefit from being in the workplace from a social perspective, whereas older married people will likely welcome the ease WFH can provide for collecting children and suchlike.

Depending on the nature of the work, toolsets can be a factor also e.g:
-Does WFH give you the same desktop experience you get in the office?
-Does the company have instant messenger apps, call forwarding, easy screen sharing etc?
-Do you have access to the same materials at home (e.g. some teams make heavy use of non-digital whiteboarding)
