You're not one to point out other peoples spelling mistakes tbh Boom
Good spot!

Didnt know you were still around on here G|mp, havnt seen you post in ages.
Ah, how i miss our sparing in the sports forum.
Depends if your getting paid into your UK account or not. Not 100% sure as your still in the EU where I am/was not , just my opinion I would ring the tax office you don't want them on your case 3 years down the line.
For example if I was to go out of the country for a year BUT NOT for a full tax year they told me they would tax me on what I earnt abroad as well , so basically i'd get taxed twice. Found this hard to believe but its what the guy at the tax office told me.
So obviously I had to stay out of the country for another few months suits me just fine
Defin worth checking out, even if turns out i'm wrong or got told wrong
Well ive googled around, and what ive managed to gather is:
- I need to apply for the dutch version of a NI number - to make sure i pay dutch tax and allow me longer than 3 months there.
- I need a dutch bank account, or an xpat one - to be able to pay rent, utility bills and avoid tax problems.
So i think realistically, i could setup a dutch bank account, and keep my UK one, and just transfer X amount over whenever i know im coming back to the UK?
So i suppose the plan overall would be to get the NI thing sorted, dutch bank account, rent/utility come out of that, dutch phone contract, internet at wherever i rent, and then hopefully jobs a good'en for what i need to do over there.
In regards to over here, correct me if im wrong, i need to inform the tax office that i work abroad, but everything else stays as is, as my 'UK residence' hasnt technically changed.
All that sound about right?
