"working on it"

Hi,
Both myself and my friend get this issue, we both have reasonably good PC's with SSD drives and they work fine, both running windows 10.

However we both get an issue when opening our download folders where it doesn't display the folder contents immediately, and the folder stays blank for a few seconds with a "working on it" message before the folder contents are displayed.

Is there anyway to speed up the process? Is it a caching issue or something.

Thanks

Move everything from your downloads folder somewhere else. Then download something and open the folder again. Probably going to be a lot faster than having a lot of items in there. You don't really need to keep everything downloaded in their though. Sort your data out properly. :)

Right click on your download folder and goto "Customize" tab and set it to "General Items" and apply to all sub folders

Click ok and you should be sorted

Kimbie

This fixed it, thanks, super quick now.

Odd that that's not the default folder setting but hey.
