Usually one must buy the service manuals and they come digitally not printed. This is the case for BMW stuff at least.
For example -

look on ktm forums, they usually post where you can download them,
Workshop manuals are intended for industry professional mechanics and so generally cost a bomb.Seemingly even KTM will not hand them out as he tried via one of their retailers.
Yeah, but that's piracy of copyrighted material.you can get em in pdf format, ive got one for both my zx bikes, just download them
I'm talking about the official manufacturer-produced, workshop/Service Manuals for which they usually charge a few hundred quid and are supposed to available only to industry professionals.some are free public domain, they aint Haynes manuals
Err... they don't....I didn't know ocuk sold motorcycle manuals?
It's not about whether you said it was illegal - In some cases it is and I was querying the OCUK forum on providing info regarding obtaining such things.I never said it was illegal, they are posted in lots of motorcycle forums, they wouldn't be links posted if they were illegal copies

Haynes/Clymer manuals are the 'civvy' versions, normally about £20.
I got rapped for providing the info, actually.I know but just because you got your fingers wrapped don't take it out on me,its upto the op if he wants to download it
I tried for a Yamaha one, but they wanted £350-odd plus tax!Suzuki printed factory manuals used to cost £50-60, but it's been a very long time since I purchased one...
Yam are also insanely expensive on OEM parts, although which ones are often quite random. I guess they're trying to predict what people will need the most and overpricing the rarer parts...Ouch! I probably got my last one in 1990 though..
