been hearing that these handballs might be attributed to the ball. whether this is true or not is another matter, but people have been saying that when struck from distance (ie long passes) the ball has been floating around quite a bit. to be fair, it would explain the two silly seriban hand balls

you could be right - when lahm was crossing the ball in the first half they all went way up in the air and landed at the other flank. apparently the altitude has an affect on it.
 
So many players are gonna have to be careful a) not to get a red in this game and b) not to get another yellow in the next game and miss the following game.

Nice chance for Serbia there.
