Switzerland played very well and Inler was brilliant in the middle, would like for the repeated rumours to come true and have him join Arsenal this summer, everytime I watch him he seems to impress me, I'm sure he has bad games that I don't see though

Spain looked like they were lacking creativity, don't know why they followed the defensive trends in this tournament and started with 2 DM's, I think Busquets had a woeful game and his attempted header for the goal was embarassing.

Also, Navas wasted such an amazing amount of crosses, worse than Walcott by far!

They should've brought Fabregas on, Spain couldn't pass.

Their passing was actually generally pretty good. There wasnt many created openings though as they tried to pass their way into the goal at times.

Their crossing was utterly dreadful from everyone they tried:

1st half they went down left flank getting the ball to Silva at every opportunity and he failed to deliver a decent cross time and again.

2nd half exact same thing except down the right flank with Navas. He did a bit better getting past opponents with skill etc but still CRAP at crossing.

subs Pedro and Mata did bugger all.

Was it 4-5-1 to start with???? What was wrong with 4-1-3-2 they used for Euro 2008 ?

The spanish are blaming Casillas' girlfriend who is a journo who reports on the touchline for the goal, it just so happens she was directly behind Casillas' goal pacing to the touchline and behind the goal.

Sara Carbonero - Nice distraction though.

Of course they are going to try and blame her lol...saying that her interview on Casillas was a bit embarrassing for him...she blatently asked him why he mucked it up according to the daily fail this morning.

But really Spain have only themselves to blame for their loss to the Swiss last night...they couldnt break the Swiss down and just ran out of ideas and then completely messed up when defending to allow the swiss to run right through the middle and score an extremely lucky goal.

Yep. Spain have a nasty habit of flattering to decieve over the years in big tournaments. Thought they'd shake that off after the last European Championships but, I doubt it.

1-0 to Switzerland, Chile are an all out attacking team against a team with a formidable defence that will keep counter-attacking over and over again :p

Tell you what, if this isn't a draw then it possibly could get interesting for Spain. I think they'd be hoping for a Chile win. Will be a good match, whoever wins gets through. Swiss will think they have a better chance though having already played Spain.

Chile v Switzerland teams:

Chile: Claudio Bravo, Waldo Ponce, Mauricio Isla, Carlos Carmona, Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Humberto Suazo, Matias Fernandez, Jean Beausejour, Gary Medel, Gonzalo Jara.

Switzerland: Diego Benaglio; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Stephane Grichting, Steve Von Bergen, Reto Ziegler; Valon Behrami, Gokhan Inler, Benjamin Huggel, Gelson Fernandes; Alexander Frei, Blaise Nkufo.
