World Cup 2010 - Semi-finals **spoilers**

Me too.

And please stop the Ghana being cheated out of the final. Everything after the handball was by the book. What more can you ask for? Anyone you are making your own rules in football.

If you had asked Ghana "Take this penalty, score and you will be in the semi final without playing the 90 minutes" They would take it. The fact that they missed, can't blame anyone.

This WC is full with pro-African team fanboys many of who probably havent followed the previous world cups and think that its some kind of God given right for African teams to reach the semis or even win it. I for one see nothing wrong in the way Uruguay got to the semis(it was,in fact, rather cool when considering that they success hanged on a single penalty kick).

Im also content with the fact that it will be at least another four years before an African nation gets to the semis because even 1/4 finals is a bit too much for them. After all, their countries are mostly a corrupt mess, their coaches are European/Latin American and the skill of their players depend mostly on their players in Europe and barely on any domestic leagues.

If Spain get their midfield working again , I would still prefer them in the final vs Netherlands rather than Germany

Germany are a great team, but they showed a little fragility around the period of England's ghost goal which Argentina werent able to do anything about, still expect Germany to score a few just depends on how fast Spain can counter imo (Argentina where too pedestrian on the counter allowing the defence to get back and organize before any attack started)

Uruguay make plans to stop Robben:

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has drawn up a plan to stop Netherlands forward Arjen Robben in their World Cup semi-final in Cape Town on Tuesday.

Sebastian Abreu, hero of the shoot-out win over Ghana, said: "Tabarez has been talking to us about Robben and how to stop a player like him.

"But it's always different when you are on the field."

"So we know how to do it but whether the actual execution actually comes off is another thing."

Are they going to shoot him, break his legs or will it be a death squad. :D

I guess the ref can keep his yellow card in his hand then, saves him the effort of having to find it every 5 minutes.

tbh I don't really fear Uruguay but I hate to say it that I think that Germany is a better team than Holland :( (and I am Dutch)

Hope the Spanish don't go through, used to really like them but getting a bit sick of their antics, plus the Germans play more appealing football

To be fair Uruguay have had Suarez in good form and some of their defenders have been outstanding, Spain have literally been a 1 man team, very average displays but Villa keeps coming up with a moment of magic to save them, reminds me of Maradona with Argentina all those years ago, Villa is literally dragging them through with the occasional bit of brilliance from Iniesta. I do think the Spanish manager has them set up all wrong though.

Think Netherlands will edge tonight, but its hard to call.

Germany are in such amazing form its hard to bet against them

I'll go for Netherlands as well :)

As far as Germany - Spain game... well... Deutschland team is playing without Müller, and 13 was pretty much their luckiest number this year ;)
