World Cup Bets

I know somebody on another forum who got 150/1 on Forlan to win the Golden Boot, he said he only put it on because it was such good value

Perhaps you should read the rules before thinking you're a smart-arse ;)

Some bookies were offering "Golden Boot" winner, most were offering "Top Goalscorer". If you took Muller or Forlan after the 3rd place play-off, your bet rested on Sneijder or Villa NOT scoring. You basically got 9/4 on that. Still a good bet if you ask me.

mine validated but hasnt been paid yet.

this is how quidco make money. basically when its been validated, i reckon quidco get the money, they keep it for 1 month then pay it to you. therefore they earn 1 months interest on it. fair enough isnt much interest, but if you take £25 x 1 million then thats a lot of interest. i have earned £800 cashback through quidco and im 1 person times that by a million and £800 million x 1 months interest is a lot of money.

thats why they can take up to 4 months to pay cashback. obviously it takes time for the retailer to pay up, then it takes time for them to make their interest. add in the £5 per year subscription fee, its a ridiculously good business with little to zero overheads.
