The point is those bets are waaaaaaaaaaay more unlikely to come off and dont, thats why the odds are larger. Its fact, people who bet seriously to make money dont put on hugely specualtive gambles, simply because its too difficult.Anyone here had a treble or upwards coem off recently?

You're exactly right so I can't argue with that. People who bet to win big do it by laying down huge stakes such as £1000 to win £300-400. For me tho i never bet anything i'm not willing to lose, that's why i prefer accumulators. I've had a couple of decent wins this year off 6 team accumulators and been close on several occasions. On the last day of the season I had a 5 draws accumulator in which 1 result let me down. I was unhappy to say the least!

I actually considered a £20 double England and Argentina but didnt thinik it was value, as it turned out IMHO Argentina were fortunate and a draw wouldnt have been unfair..........

on the tv last night it said fifa might be investigating if it was an og or becks goal (i had him 1st scorer 12/1) dunno what will happen though!

Wouldn't say that its 'that' safe against Croatia tbh,they beat Argentina not too long ago,and only lost to a last minute goal vs Spain in the warm ups.
I thought Portugal @1/4 was a banker last night,but they made me sweat for it

I never bet against Korea/Japan, they can play some good football and they are seriously tough battlers.

I'd have bet a draw primarily for this game.

Hope you get it, I had it on my 16 team (would have been 17 team) accumulator, but took it out. The accumulator is down anyway thanks to the swedes.
