2 is a double, 3 is a treble, 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 etc is an accumulator.

A treble is a form of accumulator anyway, i.e. you need all 3 to win the bet.

You do when your first real bet rewards you.

Mine was Uruguay HT/England FT @ 28/1 and had 2 quid on it (all I had on me). Joe Cole scoring in the 93rd minute was handy

tbh its all about the odds. I bet on all the favs to win there groups as it was 30-1, I think that in more than 1/30 world cups all the favs will win. That why I bet.

Well i just made the stupid mistake of think france had some potential, and not betting on the draw.
Now i am having to bet larger than i can afford to hedge that bet, in the hope that the brazil game is a given.
Well thats the sign of a bad better

I got the French/Swiss draw right and won a couple of quid.

I've got a pound on Croatia winning the match at 9-1. We'll see how that goes.

Tens ok, when it gets to thousands start worrying, i remember when i used to put £100 on i thought it was huge, now £1000 has taken the £100's place, lol.

I have been converted to betfair though, takes some getting your head round the lays and backs, but the odds are a lot better, for last minute comebacks ingame, the odds get silly huge.

lol heart nearly stopped, and in the end i havent won anything just got my money back from that terrible french bet.

Im using betfair, have been since win a small fortune laying horses that insane people think will win

Tomorrow im looking at spain being the safe one, and tunisia being the other slightly riskier win, poland german, i want to say german but im thinking draw.

2morows games pose a problem, as they are very closely matched.

I havent seen a hell of a lot of spain, but they are notorius WC messups, and Ukraine are a fair side, they have a lot of decent players - could go either way or neither.

Tunisia i know of, they arent great, but id say they are better than saudi's, mind that could also end a draw.

Germany poland again is very hard to call, i think maybe this is the best bet of the day mind, as german have a home crowd, and poland dont seem to be producing the goods. England destroyed them, and they didnt look convincing against Ecudor who arent exactly world beaters.

My predictions at best are
Germany win
Spain draw,
Tunisia win

Yep looking at the rest of them, ive put it all on germany

Ive set my limit at what ive got in the betfair bank which is only 50notes, i just stuck 35 on the germs, 18 quid return.

First time ive ever wanted them to win
