World Cup Group B (England, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Sweden) **SPOILERS**

Gerrard was making good runs at the start but seems to be playing back a bit now. He just can't seem to keep hit shots down either. Crouch should've scored without question, I didn't like him getting included in the squad from the start and this ain't helping. Lampard had a decent chance too. Joe Cole is playing well, he seems to be the bit of dribbling talent/spark we need shame he's not left footed as well :p .
 
this performace just backed up what ive been saying about england being nothing more than an over-rated and hyped up team end of
 
We're missing not having Neville making runs up the right, Carragher just doesn't offer that role. At the moment our tactic (note the singular) seems to be to hoof it toward Crouch right up by the corner flag.

Hmm. I had similar thoughts tbh.

Beckham needs to learn that theres more to football than the same long ball/free kick. Which is all he has done for the last 2 games. :mad:
 
Our football team make great celebrities, but crap footballers. I am better than all of them put together...

What the hell is wrong with Crouch? I think he just panic's and kicks the ball anywhere.

We had too many chances, we could have kicked their ass by now...
 
Boy that was absolutely **** performance from England, they are so damn lucky that Trini didnt get a goal:eek:...excellent clearance.

Im just going to say if england cant beat Trini then they wont do sweet FA in the WC...crap crap crap performance....

Lets hope they play a better second half...i want england to win this...got a lot of money riding on them lol.
 
You have to think that had Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham, Owen or Cole received the ball in Crouch's position, they'd have scored and so would Big Wayne.

T & T have played the perfect game for them, sitting back and giving us as little as possible, although I do think our midfield might pull one out of the bag in the second half.
 
England had better win this one. :mad: Look at how many chances Sweden had against T&T and compare that to England.
 
I think T & T will fall in the second, there's only so much defending they can do before someone screws up. They are barely attacking us also.

Because thats all he does, week in week out game in game out, he is completly one dimensional, the fact is yes he scores the odd goal, but we would score BUCKET loads more goals without him as we would retain about 25% more possesion without him pinging that stupid crossfield ball to the oppo right back.
