World Cup Group B (England, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Sweden) **SPOILERS**

Joe is on fire :eek: best individual 45mins I've seen in the comp. so far:)
Rooney has got about 15mins left in him at most I reckon, he's blowing big time:(
Hargreaves is doing what we all heard he can do but no-one has seen.
Our defence is looking solid again.
Good stuff:)
 
Good first half for England. Rooney is looking bright and so is Cole, though he needs to stop cutting inside every single time and look around him at other players making runs. The much maligned Hargreaves has done an excellent job as well.

England should go on and easily win this match, Sweden have a few good players but that team is very average, as their previous 2 games have shown.

That's fair enough, but I just dislike the idea that any attempt to criticise our play makes us fickle armchair supporters. I want to see the team play better, is that really a bad thing?

But anyway, good first half, we're in the lead and having most of the chances, which is nice. Hargreaves mopping up in midfield is really making the difference for us, it's making us look a lot less shakey at the back. Still a little nervous down the flanks though, and Cole (A) is looking a bit iffy on getting back to defend. Keep it up so far though. :)
 
I've been happy with England's performance so far, shame about Owen though. I hate Crouch, he hasn't done much and he keeps falling over - I reckon they should give Theo a chance.

Joe Cole.... Well, oh my god. I was saying all along he is a fantastic player, great skills and when he scored that goal - I passed out. :D

I reckon Lennon should be on, he played great last match.

I hope Owen isn't badly injured...

I'm a die hard england supporter and will only listen to positive things, "if you want to be critical drink in a different pub" was my attitude when I ran bars :) I guess I've maintained that persona into later life :D
