World Cup Group F (Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Japan) **SPOILERS**

Gutted Japan are out, really like some of their players. Australia on the other hand.. meh, most dislikable bunch imaginable lol.

Good display from Brazil tonight, showing us what they can produce. Ronaldo's second goal was just typical Ronaldo and I wouldn't put it past him to bounce back and be top scorer of the tournament.
 
Very pleased for Ronaldo, still doesn’t stop him getting stick. Yes he doesn’t move as much now, but that twist was vintage Ronaldo, could have got a couple more but I'm happy with Brazils performance tonight.

Only a fool would underestimate Brazil, they are in second gear and plenty more to come from them, they can make light work of teams even if they don’t try.

He also missed two other should have been Aussie penalties, Viduka was hauled to the ground, quite obviously, and nothing.
Then later Tomas hand balled it again in the area.
 
Tell you what today has been the best day of the WC so far! Some great games so far with the earlier ones group all undecided.

Brazil are getting some flare back! and woop go ronaldo love the way he didnt even look up for that 2nd goal just knows where its gonna go :cool: Next game the record is gonna be his!

And the other match omfg where do u start :eek: That tackle on vaduka was something out of the WWF! the 3 cards as well rofl i dont understand why some 1 didnt tell him after all thats what the mics are for surely!

I keep seeing him in Harrow. If I wasn't in my car I'd stop to ask him exactly why he sent off Kenny Achampong (Orient) for being punched in the face by a Brentford defender in around '95/'96. Even ten years later I'm bitter about that clown of a man. The only ref that's worse than him was Paul Danson. A truely astonishingly awful referee.
 
think poll `s mic must have been connected to his wife.. hey look at me i`ll make a name for myself in WC history.. what a goose. he defenatly pointed to the pen spot before he gave the 3rd yellow card.. i thought the refs where wired to the 4th official.. obviously poll`s was wired to his ipod.. he makes mr bean look normal.. :p well done aussies even though i`m a pom.. :)
 
Right just caught the highlights of the Aus/Croatia game, what the hell is Poll on...talk about going crazy on the yellow cards:p. As for Croatia??, my god the amount of handballs that were shown was quite unbelievable tbh. Surprised that Aus didnt win the game alone on the handballs, had to pmsl laughing at the rugby tackle done on Viduka though...how Poll could have missed that is beyond me.
Also the croatian manager...what a funny character:p...wish more managers were like that hehe.

Although i caught most of the Brazil game being streamed, i missed most of the second half. But caught the highlights and have to say Robinho was simply superb along with Juninho...Ronaldo now tied for the all time WC goal scorer...odds on to get that title all to himself. Im just hoping that his 2 goals will give him the much needed confidence that hes been lacking...still doesnt have any pace but meh he got 2 important goals. Also Ronaldinho started to do what hes best at, little touches and passes that were catching the Japanese out at times. The japanese goal keeper had a superb game, could have been much much worse but he made some very important saves. But that Juninho goal was a cracker of a goal....went right through his hands:eek:.

Still think Brazil will win the WC, but it wont be an easy ride for them. Their defence leaves a lot to be desired for but looking at past games...they tend to play like that anyways...they let the other teams come to them to try their chances. As ive said score 3 goals against Brazil and they will score 4....tonight ive been really impressed with the way Brazil have played...finally decided to show the world that the defending champs are back in business.

Crikey how did Ghana win yesterday??:eek:. Sorry but no way was that a penalty..typical silly reffing as usual. If anything it should have been a draw, the usa coach was spot on when he said...too many yellow/red cards are being thrown about in this WC. Anyways at least the USA gave ghana a good run for their money...had a few good chances but wasted them really.

Anyways now onto Ghana and another cracking victory\o/
